CHEF'S CORNER: Chef Marisa Oaks comes by her calling by way of distinguished family tradition; her grandparents having started Sooke Harbour House. She has grown up in restaurant kitchens (literally) and is professionally trained. Marissa is also a sailor so is sympathetic to our perhaps eccentric ways and looks upon the daily challenges with a delightful sense of humour. We know you will enjoy the fine daily selections from her varied menu. Be sure to give it a try.
